Free Snowmobile Helmets & Goggles for WI Snowmobile Safety Course
More Freakin Power out of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin is going to donate brand new Motorfist snowmobile helmet and snowmobile goggle combinations to one lucky certified snowmobile safety class in Wisconsin. This year at the More Freakin Power (MFP) annual open house, MFP staff will be running raffles throughout the day for some of their brand new top of the line snowmobile gear. All the proceeds, plus a More Freakin Power match, will be used to purchase Motorfist snowmobile helmets and goggles that will be donated to one lucky snowmobile safety course in Wisconsin. Information on how to get a snowmobile safety course signed up for the raffle can be found at the bottom of this article.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Safety & Enforcement 2016/2017 annual report says Wisconsin had 16 snowmobile fatalities during last years snowmobile season. Sixteen is a large number of people, which is why the owners of More Freakin Power are hopeful for larger attendance at snowmobile safety courses. This became an even bigger priority after reading in the same report that 81% of the snowmobile deaths in 2016/2017 involved riders that “DID NOT” attend a snowmobile safety course. “The numbers don’t lie” says owner Shawn Bula, “with 50% of all fatalities coming on public trails, and 70% of all fatalities involving collisions, we thought that helping the snowmobile safety courses recruit people would be important”. Not only does Shawn want to help recruit riders to the courses, but with the donation, he wants to help make sure the riders are properly equipped too. “Getting people certified and properly equipped will make the trails and the sport more safe for everyone involved”, says owner Shawn Bula.
More Freakin Power will host their annual open house on December 2, 2017 at 386 County Road M in Grand Marsh, Wisconsin. The event will take place from 11 AM to 9 PM, and will feature free drinks and food, brand representatives from some of the top brands in the business, a lot of free giveaways, and the pro riders from the television show Boondock Nation will be their to sign autographs and mingle with the crowd.
If that isn’t enough to get you there, More Freakin Power will be premiering the brand new 509 Films Volume 12 at 5 PM. Along with the premiere there will be $1000 worth of 509 merchandise given away in celebration of the video release. While all of this is going on, be sure to check out the brand new Ski Doo Freeride 850 snowmobile that will be on display. Most importantly, More Freakin Power will have raffles for the hottest gear on the market from 509, Motorfist, FXR, Fly Racing, and Snow Diva’s to help raise money for the donation to one snowmobile safety course in Wisconsin. One random snowmobile safety course will be selected live on the More Freakin Power Facebook page at 8:30 pm.
